This bartender’s silhouette is so vivid it could almost take on a life of its own. During the weekend, I visited the “CHIVAS Barmasters 2008” competition held at Spiral Hall in Omotesando.

The reception featured a stylish Chivas Regal 12 Years arrangement, with a gold and black display enhancing the adult-oriented tone.

There was a massive work of art at the center of the hall. Seven chosen bartenders lined up over the crowd of people.

CHIVAS Barmasters, which has already been held in many places around the world, has had its first Japan round.

After having gone through a document check and preliminary round, all these bartenders made the title of CHIVAS Barmaster, one of whom will be nominated as the top bartender. Who will be the winner?

A round counter was installed in the center so that the guests could watch the performance of the CHIVAS Barmasters from every corner of the hall.
