The prize-giving ceremony and celebration party of the 48th ACC CM Festival, 2008, which was one of the biggest advertising award festivals in Japan, was held on November 4, which we attended, following last year’s.

As usual it was a spectacular event, and the large venue was nearly full to capacity.



And look at the number of reporters!

You can see what an attention-grabbing award it is.

The total number of applications was a staggering 2,650.
Nissan’s CM “New Invention! Around-View Monitor Version” received Bronze in the TV CM category and got much applause.




After the prize-giving ceremony, a celebration party was held.
I moved on to the party room.



There I found Ryuji Uchiyama SPD, the planner of the prize-winning CM (left: TBWA\HAKUHODO), and Natsuo Sato, a creative director (right: Hakuhodo).


My picture caught the happy smiling faces of the prizewinners.

The presentation of the award-winning works of the 48th ACC CM, 2008 Festival is to be held at Yurakucho Asahi Hall in the Yurakucho Marion Building, on November 11.
Mr. Osamu Saotome, the chairman of the award committee, will be providing comments.
